Educational Qualification:
Candidate those who are applying for the Physics Trade should be B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks. For Mechanical Engineering should have 3 years Diploma or Licentiate with minimum 60% marks in the last two years in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the GOI, Ministry of HRD. For Fitter should be Matric (10th) pass with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination. For Plant Operator should 10+2 pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum 50% marks and should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination. For Instrument Mechanic should Matric (10th) pass minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination. For Electrician Matric (10th) pass with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination and for Electronic Mechanic should be Matric (10th) pass with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination.


Age Limit:
Candidates those who are applying for the posts of Scientific assistant "B" should be in between the age of 18 to 25 years and those who are applying for the posts of Technician "B" should be in between the age of 18 to 24 years as on 01-11-2013. However the upper age relaxation will be given to the candidates of the SC/ST by 5 years and OBC by 3 years.

Duration of Training:
Duration of the training for the post of Scientific Assistant-B (Group-B) is 1½ years (18 months) and for the post of Technician-B (Group-C) is 2 years.

Stipend:
Trainees of Scientific Assistant-B post will be given the stipend of Rs.9300/- p.m. and Rs.6200/- p.m. for 1st year and Rs.7200/- p.m. for 2nd year will be given to the Trainees of Technician-B post. After completion of training candidates on the basis of their performance in the training candidates can be given permanent appointment in the respective post.
